By Kalangala Ship from Entebbe, Nakiwogo pier. It leaves from Nakiwogo daily at 2.00 pm prompt, arriving Lutoboka Pier at 5.00 pm, docking about 300 metres from the Hotel, along the white sand beach. The ship leaves for Entebbe (Nakiwogo pier) daily from Lutoboka at 8.00 am prompt, arriving Nakiwogo at 11.00 am.

It carries a maximum of 108 people, and a maximum of 8 small vehicles but less when it carries some big vehicles like lorries etc. Guests are advised to be at the pier at least 30 minutes before departure.

By Road

To access the ferry at Bukakata from Kampala, one has to drive about 180 km, and then drive another 32 km from Bugoma to Kalangala District Headquarters.

By Kalangala taxi -from the New Taxi Park Kampala-Masaka stage, all the way up to the Hotel.

By Boat - Special Hire from US$ 650 (Entebbe to SIBH Pier).

Ferry timetable (Subject to change without notice) Monday –Saturday

It runs four trips a day, Monday to Saturday. And runs single trip on Sundays. Uganda Public Holidays same as Sunday. 45 minutes crossing time to Ssese Islands (Buggala).

Sunday (one crossing)-1.00 p.m - 2.00 p.m

We advise our guests to be at the landing site of their departure at least 30 minutes earlier. Note: Personal vehicles are allowed on the ferry.
